Tom Brady rewards Patriots fan who lost a tooth hunting for signed UGGs
On Thursday, UGGs endorser and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady signed three pairs of his old UGGs, hid them around Boston and then offered clues on their whereabouts -- basically a treasure hunt for used Tom Brady footwear, retail value about $250, if not priceless with the signature.
A Massachusetts man named Luke Barosky saw one of Brady's clues and sprung into motion. It did not go so well for him. Here's what he wrote (at left) and here's Brady's response (at right):
So, Barosky will come away with a pair of signed Brady UGGs after all.
The cynic might suggest that Barosky was already missing a tooth and just applied fake blood or ketchup to his eye, never ventured outside and hoped sympathy would work. One such cynic wrote:
I just scrolled through all of Luke's photos. Interesting that there are very few photos of him, and that none of the few show his teeth. Also interesting to see that he's a professional graphic designer, and that the toothless photos he sent look photoshopped. Seems to me that he either went and deleted every photo that showed his teeth, because he's been missing the tooth for years, or that he photoshopped it, and he's just miserable and never smiles, except when he loses a tooth. Something doesn't smell right. Someone needs to check the PSI in his tooth.
