Titans S Searcy preparing to face former team
As the Tennessee Titans get back to work following the bye week, safety Da'Norris Searcy is preparing to face some old friends in Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
Searcy, who signed with the Titans as a free agent in March, spent the first four seasons of his career with the Bills.
While Searcy is familiar with many of the players on Buffalo's roster, one player he didn't play with during his time there was quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who has helped the Bills get off to a 2-2 start.
Even though the pair weren't teammates in Buffalo, Search said he does have experience with Taylor, dating back to college, when Taylor played at Virginia Tech and Search played for North Carolina.
“We played them four straight years and only beat him once, so I know he’s a great quarterback,” Searcy said, per the Tennessean. “I’m glad to see him get his opportunity to shine. He learned a lot in Baltimore as Joe Flacco’s back-up, and now he’s ready to play.”
