Titans rule out Kendall Wright for Sunday's game

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints due to a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee.

Wright hurt his knee when he took a hit from Houston Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson in the Titans' 20-6 loss last Sunday. Titans interim coach Mike Mularkey said Thursday that Wright has been ruled out for the Saints game.

Mularkey says, "He's walking the hallways better, he's living in the training room, but he's obviously out for the week."

Wright has 28 catches for 343 yards and three touchdowns.

Cornerbacks Blidi Wreh-Wilson (hamstring) and Jason McCourty (groin) also didn't practice Thursday.

Receiver Harry Douglas has practiced fully the last two days and is expected to play Sunday after missing two games with a rib cartilage injury.
