Titans RB Antonio Andrews: 'Every game feels like an away game'

The Tennessee Titans have lost 10 straight at home and to hear one player tell it, the atmosphere at Nissan Stadium may be playing a part in the streak.

Tennessee's last home win came in Oct. 12, 2014 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Second-year running back Antonio Andrews said a lack of home-field advantage is weighing on the players.

“It's a while (since the Titans won at home). Every game feels like an away game,” Andrews said, per Titan Insider's Terry McCormick. “So I don't really know what to say too much about winning at home. It's always good to win at home and not lose, but every game feels like an away game.”

Home losses against the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins earlier this season saw large contingents of opposing fans making their presence felt, to the dismay of players.

That may well be the case once again Sunday, with the Oakland Raiders coming to Nashville. The Raiders are 4-6, but have a strong following.

"We have to win the game,” tight end Delanie Walker said. “You want your fans to be happy, cheering and screaming your name. It would be good to finally get that feeling.”
