Titans lose center Schwenke for season with ankle injury

Tennessee Titans starting center Brian Schwenke was carted to the locker room with dislocated left ankle suffered in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Schwenke was injured late in the second quarter and was down on the field for several minutes while being attended to. He was replaced in the lineup by rookie Andy Gallik.

"It was bad," Titans guard Chance Warmack said of Schwenke's injury, per the Tennesseean. "I've never seen anything like that playing football. I just hope he gets better."

A third-year pro, Schwenke has started 24 career games, including 11 last season. He was taken in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.
