Titans G Warmack hoping to return against Bills

Tennessee Titans right guard Chance Warmack said Wednesday he hopes to be able to play this week against the Buffalo Bills as he works his way back from a knee injury.

Wamack, who was injured in the Titans' Sept. 20 loss to the Cleveland Browns, missed the team's 16-13 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts the following week. After getting an extra week of rest due to the bye, Warmack practiced on Wednesday.

“It feels better than last week,’’ Warmack said, per the team's official website. “I am just trying to get a good feel for how it is, and we’ll see how it goes. I’m day by day.”

In Warmack's absence, Jamon Meredith started against the Colts.

If the three-year veteran is able to play this week, he'll face a big challenge in Buffalo defensive lineman Marcell Dareus. The two were teammates at the University of Alabama. Warmack called Dareus a "beast."

“He taught me a lot in terms of what a defensive lineman is thinking and what they are trying to do," Warmack said. "I used to ask him a lot of questions in college. He always had the tricks he would tell us."
