This video of Kam Chancellor's best hits proves why he's Seattle's tone-setter

The Seattle Seahawks are getting the heartbeat back to their defense this week against the Chicago Bears.

Safety Kam Chancellor, who has ended his lengthy contract holdout, is an enforcer and sets the tone for the back end of defensive coordinator Kris Richard's unit.

Chancellor, who signed a four-year, $28 million extension after the 2012 season, is one of the league's top safeties and is scheduled to make $5.1 million.

Russ James on Vimeo put together a compilation of Chancellor's most punishing hits in January in the video above.

You certainly will never want to go over the middle again.
