The Chargers are buzzing about another one of their Melvins

Chargers fans are beginning to tab Melvin Gordon as the answer to their team's running woes.

But the 15th overall pick out of Wisconsin isn't the only Melvin they should be amped up about, according to team reports.

Melvin Ingram, the team's oft-injured outside linebacker, is wowing Bolts brass in spring workouts.

This report from U-T San Diego's Tom Krasovic sums up the optimism best:

Melvin Ingram is putting smiles on faces at Chargers Park The outside linebacker has whipped his body into impressive shape in recent months. The Chargers say Ingram, 26, looks incredible. The team is thrilled with the work he put in over the winter.

Dwight Freeney won't be coming back and Jarret Johnson retired from the team. It'd be a huge plus if Ingram can provide pressure, especially given the fact that the Bolts set franchise-lows in sacks in 2014.
