The CFL-to-Chargers pipeline remains strong with new addition

The San Diego Chargers aren't afraid to look to the CFL to find NFL-ready contributors.

Receiver Dontrelle Inman (Toronto Argonauts) and linebacker Cordarro Law (Calgary Stampeders) have carved roles on the team. They're hoping Edmonton Eskimos standout linebacker Dexter McCoil can do the same.

McCoil might be the team's top CFL prize. The former Tulsa star tallied 76 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions and a fumble recovery this past season, helping the Eskimos win the Grey Cup.

He was also CFL Rookie of the Year in 2014.

There's room on the roster if McCoil can adjust. He might need to transition to safety, but San Diego needs all the defensive help it can get to mount a turnaround next year.
