Texans sign DT Brandon Dunn from Bears practice squad

The Houston Texans added former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Brandon Dunn to the active roster on Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Dunn played in one game for Chicago this season, recording two tackles in the team's Week 2 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Dunn was released Oct. 3 and later signed to the team's practice squad.

An undrafted free agent out of Louisville, the 6-2, 300-pound Dunn appeared in three games as a rookie last season and made one tackle.

Dunn joins Jeoffrey Pagan and Christian Covington in a reserve role along Houston's defensive line.
