Teddy Bridgewater Injury Update: Vikings QB possibly tears ACL

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater went down with a non-contact injury in practice and Minnesota is mourning.

Things come to a crash at Vikings training camp on Tuesday when third-year quarterback Teddy Bridgewater stopped practice after he suffered a non-contact knee injury. Note that he didn’t leave practice with this injury, it was so severe that it caused practice to be cancelled.

Players were reportedly throwing their helmets in disgust and dropping to their knees to pray. That’s not what you want to hear when you’re less than two weeks away from the start of the season.

It’s not a pretty scene at Winter Park, as an ambulance was brought out to take Bridgewater to the hospital after he suffered his injury.

Right now it’s unclear what the injury is and it’s very possible that this is just a really bad scare. But the chances are that this is a serious injury that could potentially end the Vikings season along with Teddy’s.

We will keep you posted with the latest updates as they come in.
