Taylor Gabriel burns Los Angeles Rams secondary on 64-yard touchdown (Video)

Taylor Gabriel has another explosive play for the Atlanta Falcons. Here he is scoring on a 64-yard bomb from quarterback Matt Ryan on the Los Angeles Rams.

Wide receiver Taylor Gabriel has been a great find for the Atlanta Falcons in 2016. He was cut by the Cleveland Browns in training camp and has become a stud No. 3 wide receiver in Atlanta.

The Falcons needed somebody to step up big time on Sunday’s road game against the Los Angeles Rams. Atlanta was without Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu in the receiving corps. Gabriel was able to use his great breakaway speed to score on this 64-yard touchdown bomb from Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

Ryan has been more open to going deep in his second year of Kyle Shanahan’s West Coast offense. He doesn’t have elite NFL arm strength, but he has been very accurate with the deep ball in 2016.

Gabriel could not have been more wide open on that easy 64-yard touchdown on the Rams defense. He would walk to the front right pylon to put the Falcons up 27-0. The made Matt Bryant PAT would put the Falcons up 28-0 on the reeling Rams.

Atlanta has played great defense against a putrid Rams offense. That has been the difference so far, as Atlanta hasn’t been utterly explosive for large stretches of Sunday’s road game. Atlanta does have a strong running game it can lean on to milk the clock in the fourth quarter it if needs to.

Los Angeles might be the worst team in the NFC at this point of the season. The rival San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bears are still playing hard despite being out of it in the NFC Playoff picture.
