T-Rich scores on first play with Colts
That didn't take long.
Trent Richardson made his first appearance in a Colts uniform on Sunday, entering the game against the 49ers on Indy's opening drive. On second-and-goal from the 1-yard line, T-Rich got the carry and rumbled into the end zone untouched for the score.
Now, I don't know how much credit he deserves for that TD, since the Colts offensive line had blown open a pretty big hole. What's more, running back Ahmad Bradshaw did the lion's share of work on that drive. Richardson came in and vultured the touchdown at the end.
Nonetheless, that still has to feel good. Kudos, T-Rich. What feels even better? The Colts pounded the 49ers 27-7.
