Here is what to know about the Super Bowl oddsboard:

The Favorite: The top spot still belongs to the L.A. Rams, who held form at home and defeated Detroit in Week 15, improving to 11-3. Since their bye week, the Rams have won six of their last seven, and quarterback Matthew Stafford is the favorite to win regular-season MVP. Their odds shortened from +390 last week to +340 this week, and L.A. is one of two teams (Denver) that has already clinched a playoff berth. Up next? Arguably the biggest game of the season in the NFC — the Rams against the 11-3, NFC West rival Seahawks, in Seattle on Thursday night. The winner of that game will take over the top spot in the NFC standings with only two games to go.

Ones to Watch: The Seahawks remained second on the board at +650. As mentioned, they get the Rams in the Pacific Northwest on Thursday, having lost their Week 11 matchup to the Rams in Los Angeles. Moving up to third on the board are the Broncos, who defeated last week's team with the third-shortest odds, the Packers, in Week 15. With the win, the Broncos moved from +1000 to +800, and the Packers moved from +800 to +1100 with the loss. Remaining fourth on the board were the Bills, who beat ending the Patriots' 10-game win streak with a Week 15 win in New England.

The Defending Champs: The Eagles (9-5) are in a shaky way. While they are still a respectable fifth on the Super Bowl oddsboard, and they blew out the Raiders on Sunday, they had lost three in a row prior to their Week 15 win, falling at Dallas in Week 12, at home against Chicago in Week 13 and then on the road against the Chargers in Week 14. If the postseason started today, Philly would be the third seed. It has three games left — two against Washington and one at Buffalo. When it comes to winning the Big Game in consecutive years, other than the Chiefs going back-to-back in 2022 and 2023, winning two in a row is a feat seldom accomplished in the Super Bowl era. New England won the Super Bowl in 2003 and 2004. Before that, the Broncos won in 1997 and 1998, and the Cowboys won in 1993 and 1994. The Niners went back-to-back in 1988 and 1989; the Steelers won in 1974 and 1975, and then again in 1978 and 1979. The Dolphins won in 1972 and 1973, and the Packers won in 1966 and 1967.
