Stephen Hill looking to bounce back and make the team

Since being a second-round pick back in 2012, Stephen Hill has failed to live up to expectations. This year, he's looking to make a splash with the Carolina Panthers and make their final 53-man roster.

For Hill, that's his main focus, according to Bryan Strickland of Panthers.com.

"Right now, it's just about making the team," Hill said during an exclusive interview with Panthers.com on the second day of organized team activities. "That's where my expectations are focused right now – just making the team and getting out there and helping out."

Hill's always been a player with intriguing upside and the Panthers are hoping to see him take that next step in 2015. He's even received praise from veteran receiver Jerricho Cotchery this offseason as well.

"He's had a great attitude from Day One," 12th-year wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery told Panthers.com. "He just works so hard. He didn't come in as a guy who felt like he was entitled just because of where he was drafted. He just came in as a guy working on getting better."
