Steelers coach Mike Tomlin disappointed but hopeful

PITTSBURGH (AP) Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin calls 2015 a disappointment because the franchise failed to reach the Super Bowl but is proud of the way his club handled adversity.

Pittsburgh finished 11-7 despite injuries to several key players, including running back Le'Veon Bell, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and center Maurkice Pouncey.

Tomlin praised the defense and first-year coordinator Keith Butler, who oversaw a unit that finished third in the NFL in sacks and takeaways. There are plenty of issues to address in the offseason, particularly along the offensive line and in the secondary.
