Steelers' Brown rated as top receiver by Pro Football Focus

Not only did Steelers receiver Antonio Brown dominate the traditional receiving categories last season, he also killed it in advanced metrics.

Brown was rated the best receiver in the NFL for the 2014 season and seventh-best player overall by Pro Football Focus. He finished just three touchdowns shy of the receiving triple crown with 129 catches for 1,698 yards and 13 scores.

PFF graded Brown at plus-25.2 for the year, the second-highest rating for a receiver since the site began its metrics back in 2007. Andre Johnson scored a plus-25.5 in 2012.

Brown's footwork helped him rack up 615 yards after the catch, and enabled him to become the league's most complete receiver, according to PFF.

The site deemed Brown's explosive performance against the Colts in Week 8 as his best of the season. He caught 10 balls for 133 yards and two touchdowns in a 51-34 win over Indianapolis.

Brown joins teammates Le'Veon Bell (No. 12), Ben Roethlisberger (No. 36), and Kelvin Beachum (No. 67) on PFF's top 101 players of 2014. You can catch the full list here.
