Steelers activate QB Bruce Gradkowski from PUP list
The Steelers have their backup quarterback back as Bruce Gradkowski was activated from the physically unable to perform list Sunday.
Gradkowski has been sidelined all training camp with a sore throwing shoulder. He was spotted throwing the ball well before Friday's preseason game in Jacksonville.
Third-string quarterback Landry Jones has seen the bulk of the action in Pittsburgh's two preseason games so far. Jones completed 24-of-46 passes for 200 yards and a touchdown in relief of Ben Roethlisberger against the Jaguars. Jones hasn't quite shown enough to make a push to be the team's primary backup.

Bruce Gradkowski firing out-routes to WR. Throws look crisp, on the money. Doesnt look from here like he has major shoulder issues #Steelers
