Source: Patriots, Gostkowski sign four-year, $17M deal
The New England Patriots made a long-term commitment to kicker Stephen Gostkowski on Wednesday.
Gostkowski signed a four-year deal worth $17 million, a source confirmed to FOX Sports 1's NFL insider Mike Garafolo. The Boston Globe's Christopher Gasper first reported the story.
The sides agreed upon the deal before the 4 p.m. ET deadline to sign players who have been given the franchise tender.
Gostkowski, a three-time Pro Bowler, was selected in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
