'SNL' roasts coverage of Manning, Newton with 'Ebony and Ivory' duet
Larry David and Bernie Sanders may have stolen the show on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, but the Super Bowl wasn't going to go untouched.
The show skewered the media coverage of Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton and his Denver Broncos counterpart, Peyton Manning, with a skit of the pair doing a duet of "Ebony and Ivory" -- but with the lyrics updated, obviously.
Played by Kenan Thompson (Cam) and Taran Killam (Peyton), the two sang about the disparity in their stats, the reaction they get from fans, endorsements, celebrations and, uh, Johnny Manziel.
Not bad at all.
