Slimmed-down Eddie Lacy getting nothing but praise from the Packers

Apparently, a lot less of Eddie Lacy showed up for the start of the Packers offseason program Monday. And Lacy's teammates couldn't help but notice a slimmed-down version of bruising running back.

"He looked good," quarterback Aaron Rodgers told Packers News. "Obviously been doing a lot of P90X."

Lacy's transformation first became public in early March, when P90X creator Tony Horton began training the Packers back. The first image of Lacy's weight loss surfaced soon after that.

"I was going to crack a joke, but I won't. He looked good," receiver Jordy Nelson said. "We're glad to have everyone back, get ready to work. That will be for him to answer. I didn't ask him how much he weighed or his percent body fat or how fast he ran."

The Packers did not disclose if they weighed Lacy on Monday, but a source told ESPN that Lacy is 15-18 pounds lighter than his listed playing weight of 234 pounds. Now, the Packers have to hope Lacy returns to the 4.6 yards per-carry average he posted in 2014 instead of the 4.1 he tallied in 2015.
