Sean Payton's son takes part in the Manning Passing Academy

The Manning Passing Academy took place this past weekend, and while there were some big-named fathers around watching their sons, one who immediately caught the eye was Sean Payton. According to Joel A. Erickson of The Advocate, Payton's son Connor was in attendance.

Connor Payton is heading into his freshman year of high school, which led to Payton deciding to sign his son up.

Archie Manning said that he's been trying to get Payton out to the camp, adding that it didn't take long for him to jump in as a coach.

“You know, Sean, I’ve been telling him about it for years, but he’s always at the beach,” the elder Manning told The Advocate. “Connor’s going into the ninth grade, and he said, ‘Signed up Connor for camp, I’m all in.’ … He wants to coach.”

“He’s kind of sitting in on our staff meetings,” Manning said. “He was pretty impressed with our speed camp last night. Sean’s pretty enthusiastic. He’s all in.”

It's a pretty awesome deal to see Payton helping out. Here's to hoping that we hear his son's name in a few years here when it comes down to choosing colleges.
