Lee will replace Kansas City Chief's linebacker Justin Houston. Houston has been dealing with a knee injury.
Lee recorded a career-high 76 tackles in 2015, a year in which he was moved to the weak side linebacker position.
Lee returned to the Cowboys in dominant fashion in 2015 after suffering a torn ACL just the year prior. The knee injury, his third ACL tear of his career, knocked him out of the entire 2014 season.
He will join Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin and Dan Bailey as Dallas' Pro Bowl representatives.
This is Lee's first career Pro Bowl selection.
