Seahawks deal Flynn to Raiders

The Seattle Seahawks just lightened their wallets.

Seattle has dealt backup quarterback Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders for late-round picks in the 2014 and 2015 NFL Drafts, FOXSports.com has learned.

Flynn signed a $26 million contract with the Seahawks before the 2012 season but was beaten out for the starting job by rookie Russell Wilson. The latter held on to the job the entire season and developed into a budding superstar.

More trades are apparently in the works as the Raiders are working on dealing 2012 starting QB Carson Palmer to the Arizona Cardinals for a late-round selection.
