Schaub starting for Texans, Cotchery out for Jets

Quarterback Matt Schaub is starting for the Houston Texans against the New York Jets after spending a night in the hospital earlier in the week with a knee injury.

Schaub had an injury to the bursa sac in his right knee that put him in the hospital Tuesday. He was released Wednesday and returned to practice Thursday.

Texans linebacker Zac Diles was not active Sunday because of an illness that kept him out of practice all week. He was replaced by Darryl Sharpton in the lineup. Tight end Owen Daniels (hamstring) was also out.

Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (groin) and backup defensive backs Dwight Lowery (concussion) and Marquice Cole (hamstring) were not active after being ruled out Friday.
