Sammy Watkins (ankle) has 'noticeable limp' in walkthrough

Sammy Watkins exploded for a career day against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday after missing three of the previous four games. Watkins caught eight passes for 168 yards and a touchdown and gave the Bills offense a much-needed boost.

Following the performance, though, there were questions about how Watkins' previously-injured ankle would respond. On Monday, the team got an idea of just how healthy he is.

According to Mike Rodak of ESPN, Watkins was walking with a "noticeable limp" in the team's walkthrough. It's not a good sign obviously, but there's little doubt that he'll be able to play against the Jets on Thursday.

Certainly, the Bills will need him. He accounted for 92.8 percent of the team's receiving yards, the highest percentage in the NFL since 1999. He and Tyrod Taylor were on the same page throughout the game and they'll look to continue that trend in the coming weeks -- so long as both remain healthy.
