Saints' incredible streak under Sean Payton ends on Monday night

After the New Orleans Saints dropped Monday night's game 35-27 loss to the Detroit Lions, it was a bottle of mixed emotions. While Drew Brees spent the night breaking records, the Saints unfortunately broke another record that wasn't one that you'd want to brag about.

That's a pretty amazing stat to think about, as the Saints were playing from behind the entire game. You'd assume that at least once or twice there'd be a situation where New Orleans forced it downfield, but that wasn't the case. Brees, Tim Hightower and the rest of the Saints did a great job protecting the ball, but it just wasn't enough on Monday night.
