Ryan Fitzpatrick takes part in team drills at Jets OTAs

According to New York Jets head coach Todd Bowles, Geno Smith is the starter right now but there will still be a quarterback competition throughout the offseason.

While the focus has been on Geno, one of the other quarterbacks expected to compete with Geno, Ryan Fitzpatrick, was seen participating in full-team drills during Wednesday's OTA session.

Fitzpatrick is recovering from a broken leg that he suffered in December. Fitzpatrick was acquired by the Jets in the offseason from the Houston Texans. As of right now, Fitzpatrick is the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart.

As he gets healthier, it will be interesting to see how much he can push Geno as they compete for the starting gig.
