RG3 or Johnny Manziel: Who is the better fit for the Dallas Cowboys?
Clearly, the Dallas Cowboys need a young quarterback. Lucky for them, two young quarterbacks who may be in need of new homes may be on the market this offseason.
Tony Romo spent all but four games on the sidelines with a broken collarbone, and he turns 36 in April. The Cowboys have the No. 4 pick in the NFL Draft, which they could use to find his successor. But if they turn to free agency or trade, it's very likely that Robert Griffin III (Washington Redskins) or Johnny Manziel (Cleveland Browns) could be available.
So in our role as fantasy GMs, we dissected in the video above how the two quarterbacks might fit in Dallas.
"If you have to choose, both of these guys are great options, you have to go with the guy who has shown more upside on the actual football field," said FS1's Clay Travis, whose pick was RG3.
Bill Reiter, on the other hand, feels that Manziel is the better fit because RG3 is "damaged good and got a little petulant" because of his time in Washington. Either way, after a 4-12 debacle, the Cowboys need to develop a young quarterback behind Romo.
