Report: WR Jerricho Cotchery out 4-6 weeks with high ankle sprain

As if things weren't tough enough at the wide receiver position for the Carolina Panthers after losing Kelvin Benjamin before the season, it seems as though they may be down another player for a few weeks.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, veteran WR Jerricho Cotchery has a high-ankle sprain and may miss between 4-6 weeks.

Obviously there's hope that Cotchery could be back sooner than later, but it's tough to tell at this point. Carolina badly needs consistency at the position, and it looks like it'll be the "next man up" mentality for the likes of Ted Ginn Jr., Devin Funchess, Corey Brown and Kevin Norwood.
