Report: Vikings aren't ruling out any options in Peterson case

The Minnesota Vikings are completing their own fact-finding process before weighing in further on running back Adrian Peterson, according to ESPN.

Peterson is deactivated for Sunday's game against the Patriots after being indicted on a charge of injury to a child.

According to ESPN, Spielman said that the organization first heard of the formal allegations on Friday and made the decision to deactivate Peterson.

"We are, as an organization, still in the process of gathering information, and at the end of the weekend we will discuss what we will do going forward," he said, according to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. "You don't want to make any knee-jerk reactions. All options are on the table. You can't take any options off the table because we're still gathering information."
