Report: Tebow declines TV analyst job

Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has turned down an offer to appear as a studio analyst on CBS' Sunday pregame show, the network told USA Today.

Tebow's decision was announced by CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus, who said the network "is perfectly fine with the lineup we have."

Reports over the past few days indicated the network had offered Tebow a spot on the show.

Tebow, who was voted in an ESPN poll as America's favorite active athlete last month, saw his season end Saturday in a 45-10 loss to the New England Patriots.

Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh appeared Sunday as a guest analyst on "NFL Today" before the Ravens-Texans game.
