Report: Rams not interested in OL Evan Mathis

When the Philadelphia Eagles released All-Pro offensive lineman Evan Mathis, the St. Louis Rams immediately popped up as one of the teams that could be interested. The Rams have a very young offensive line with only two returning starters. Mathis could've provided that veteran presence that they are missing.

A Rams source told Jason Cole of Bleacher Report that the Rams are not interested in signing the veteran offensive lineman. But rather letting their young core grow together.

The Rams may be sacrificing a little this year with such a young offensive line, but nothing beats continuity. If the Rams can keep everyone together, it could certainly benefit them greatly in the future.
