Report: Ndamukong Suh set to sign $114 million deal with Dolphins

The Detriot Lions and defensive star Ndamukong Suh reportedly are parting ways.

The Miami Dolphins are poised to sign the controversial defensive tackle to a $114 million contract -- with $60 million guaranteed -- on Tuesday once the free-agency period begins, according to an ESPN report.

The report notes that the deal would make Suh one of the highest-paid players in the league.

The Lions declined to franchise-tag Suh last week, a move under which he would have made $26.7 million next year.

Suh made the Pro Bowl four of his first five seasons in the NFL. But his on-field antics -- such as stomping on opponents and various illegal hits on quarterbacks -- have led to multiple fines and suspensions.
