Report: Julio Jones 'moving forward' and 'doing great'

While Julio Jones has been dealing with both a toe injury and a hamstring injury, the Atlanta Falcons got some good news as their star wide receiver practiced on Monday.

On top of that, as D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Dan Quinn had very positive things to say about Jones' status.

“Just from the end of last week, he was doing really good,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “There were no set backs at all from the game. Moving forward, he’s doing great.”

It's been obvious that Jones has been slowed at least somewhat by the injuries, as he went from topping 135 yards in the first three games, to failing to hit 100 yards in any of the previous three. Regardless, he looked solid against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6, catching six balls for 93 yards.

Don't be surprised to see Jones top the 100-yard mark and get back in the end zone sooner than later.
