Report: Giants 'comfortable' where Pierre-Paul is physically
By Steve DelVecchio
Jason Pierre-Paul met with the New York Giants this week for a physical examination, and the team is reportedly satisfied with the way his injured hand has healed.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed previous reports that the Giants are working on a one-year deal with incentives for Pierre-Paul and that he could sign as early as Tuesday.
The #Giants are comfortable with where Jason Pierre-Paul is physically, sources say, after they examined his hand. Negotiating a deal now.

It appears the team has no longer made signing the $14.7 million franchise tender an offer. While the Giants need help along their defensive front this season, only time will tell if Pierre-Paul can be as effective without his right index finger and a portion of his thumb. If you have seen the photos of JPP’s bandaged hand, you know that his fireworks mishap was no minor thing.
