Report: Eagles to hire personnel chief after draft

It's tough to get a brand new person on the same game page as the Philadelphia Eagles this close to the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft, and that's why they have decided to put their search for a personnel chief on hold.

According to Geoff Mosher of 97.5 The Fanatic, despite interviewing several candidates for the position, the Eagles will wait until after the draft.

According to the source, the Eagles had interviewed Brandon Hunt, the Pittsburgh Steelers' pro scouting coordinator, on multiple occasions.

Without someone between head coach Doug Pederson and vice president of football operations Howie Roseman, Roseman will have control over the Eagles' draft.

Ed Marynowitz, Philadelphia's previous vice president of player personnel under Chip Kelly, was released in December.
