Report: Chicago Bears sign DL David Carter, waive LB Jonathan Brown

After the reported signing of Arena League return specialist A.J. Cruz, the Chicago Bears made two more roster moves, according to Kevin Fishbain of Chicago Football. The team also signed defensive lineman David Carter and waived linebacker Jonathan Brown.

The Bears' 90-man roster is now full and ready for the start of training camp.

Carter hasn't played in an NFL game since 2013, when he appeared in three games for the Dallas Cowboys. He played in college at UCLA and was originally a sixth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in the 2011 NFL Draft. Carter did not miss a game during his first two seasons (starting four in 2012) and has accumulated 29 career tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.

Brown, an Illinois product, spent time on the Bears' practice squad last season but was never called up for a game, according to Chicago Football.
