Report: Chargers sign former Rams tackle Joe Barksdale
Joe Barksdale has started 29 games the past two seasons.
The former Rams' right tackle will start his 30th with the San Diego Chargers, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
Michael Gehlken of U-T San Diego reported that Barksdale met with the Chargers on Monday. The Rams, Falcons, and Titans also expressed interest in the 26-year-old.
General manager Tom Telesco threw his support behind D.J. Fluker as the team's right tackle. But with fluctuating weight concerns -- and a capable replacement now on the team in Barksdale -- Fluker could still kick inside to guard.
