Report: 49ers still interested in Lance Briggs

The San Francisco 49ers may not be done quite yet with their linebacker search. According to Matt Barrows of the Sac Bee, the 49ers are still interested in Lance Briggs.

The 49ers did not draft an inside linebacker so it should come as no surprise that they may be looking for extra depth at the position. 

NaVorro Bowman and Michael Wilhoite are projected to be the 49ers starting inside linebackers. The 49ers also signed Philip Wheeler on the first day of the draft.
