Redskins rookie Robert Kelley calls out 'the Dallas Cowgirls' ahead of rivalry game

Robert Kelley might be a rookie, but the Washington Redskins running back seems to have a really good grasp of the rivalry between his team and the Dallas Cowboys.

Two days before the much-anticipated Thanksgiving Day matchup, Kelley took a shot at the Redskins’ NFC East foes.

“I know nobody here like the Dallas Cowgirls,” Kelley told reporters Tuesday.

No, it’s not the most creative shot at America’s Team and it’s probably not the wisest move by 24-year-old, who has rushed for 424 yards and four touchdowns. The Cowboys are riding a franchise-record nine-game winning streak and have the best record (9-1) in the NFL.

Dallas also has bragging rights over Washington this season, beating the Redskins in D.C. during their Week 2 matchup. Washington is coming off a season-best 42-point outburst against the Packers, with Kelley rushing for a career-best 137 yards and three touchdowns.

Maybe that’s why he’s feeling so confident heading into the game. Will he feel the same after it?
