Redskins CB Josh Norman rips official after tie with Bengals: 'He sucked'

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman had a rough game against Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green on Sunday in London, but it didn’t all show up in the box score. When covering Green, Norman allowed five catches (11 targets) for 76 yards and had three passes defensed. That’s not bad considering how good Green is, however, his issues came with the officials.

Norman was flagged five times – four for illegal use of hands. After the game, Norman expressed significant displeasure with the way the game was called, ripping field judge Brad Freeman.

Norman didn’t stop there. He continued to go after Freeman and the officials.

It’s certainly possible Norman is frustrated by the outcome of the game, which ended in a 27-27 tie. It’s also likely that he doesn’t believe he should have been flagged for infractions as often as he was. Regardless of the reasoning, Norman had a rough game in coverage.
