RB Williams returns for Panthers vs. Saints

Carolina running back DeAngelo Williams is active for Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Saints after missing the past week's game with a quad contusion.

Williams is Carolina's leading rusher with 610 yards this season and has had some of the best games of his career against New Orleans, including a 210-yard, two-TD outing in the Superdome to close out last season.

The Saints, meanwhile, scratched safety Rafael Bush, an often-used reserve, who had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury.

The Saints other inactive players included defensive end Glenn Foster (knee), linebacker Keyunta Dawson (calf) and receiver Nick Toon who was a healthy scratch.

Inactive players for Carolina included linebacker Jordan Senn (hamstring), who was listed as questionable on Friday and starting right guard Chris Scott (knee), who was ruled out Friday.
