Ravens sign RB Terrance West to practice squad

Running back Terrance West is heading home to Baltimore. The Ravens added the former third-round pick of the Cleveland Browns to their practice squad Tuesday.

West was released by the Tennessee Titans last week having played just two games this season. West, who ran for 51 yards on 16 carries, was acquired before the season from Cleveland for a conditional draft pick but was benched after losing two fumbles.

The Browns cut the cord on West despite a solid rookie season amid concerns about his attitude and work ethic. West was expected to split time with Isaiah Crowell after totaling 673 rushing yards and four touchdowns in 2014.

West was so highly thought of coming out of Towson University that the Browns moved up to select him in the third round. After a tumultuous start to his career, West is apparently happy to be back in Baltimore based on his recent Instagram post

"From pop warner to high school to college and now the pro's. God took me around the world to bang me up so I could appreciate it more being home. Ima give you guys my all. I love my city. Dreams into reality!! Locked in and focus#BlessedToBeA #RAVEN"
