Ravens mascot appears to celebrate missed Baltimore FG

Justin Tucker is usually terrific in clutch situations, and the Baltimore Ravens mascot seems to have given the kicker a little too much credit.

The Ravens and St. Louis Rams were tied 13-13 with only 1:18 remaining in the fourth quarter. Tucker stepped up for a 51-yard attempt, and he pushed it slightly wide right.

But don’t tell the mascot that. He celebrated as if Tucker’s kick was good.

Fortunately for Poe, the Ravens mascot, the defense recovered a fumble and set up another chance for Tucker to shine. He buried a 47-yarder as time expired to give Baltimore a 16-13 win.

The Ravens improved to 3-7, and each victory came thanks to a final-play field goal from Tucker.

All’s well that ends well, but maybe Poe should wait for the referee’s official signal next time.
