Randy Moss, Josh Gordon working with Terrelle Pryor

By Craig Lyndall

While Terrelle Pryor has faced a lot of skepticism in his football career, he seems very committed to making it as an NFL wide receiver. We recently saw Pryor showing off his workouts to improve his footwork. And now, we’re getting an idea of some of the people that Pryor is working with to try and make his transition to receiver.

Among the list of notable players is none other than suspended Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon.

Seeing Terrelle Pryor commit this way is very encouraging. Even as we keep in mind how difficult it is to play receiver in the NFL at a high level, it’s easy to get excited just seeing the company Pryor has been keeping. Pryor shares the same physical characteristics as some really talented receivers, and we already know how quickly he can get from point A to point B on an NFL field with the ball in his hands. The only question – and it is a big one – is whether Pryor can make the leap from getting the ball in his hands from an NFL center to finding ways to secure it from a quarterback.

The advertised drills and skills at The Randy Moss Academy sound like just what the doctor ordered.

Here’s hoping that Pryor really does “Get Moss’D!” Frankly, here’s hoping that Josh Gordon does, too. We’ll have to wait until 2016 to see about Gordon's results, but we just might see some results from Pryor in 2015.
