Rams CB Jenkins limited in practice due to concussion

St. Louis Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins was limited in practice Wednesday due to a concussion.

Jenkins was a surprise addition to the injury report for the Rams, who do not practice on Thursdays and were off the previous week due to a bye. Five players - defensive ends Robert Quinn and Chris Long, wide receiver Tavon Austin, running back Tre Mason and tight end Lance Kendricks - did not practice.

Missing Jenkins would be a big loss for St. Louis entering Sunday's home game against the Cleveland Browns. The fourth-year cornerback was thrown at only once by Aaron Rodgers - on his first pass attempt - in the Rams' 24-10 defeat at Green Bay on Oct. 11.

“I see it as a sign of respect,” Jenkins told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “But at the same time, he probably saw something on the other side that he liked better. Probably match-up wise or whatever.”
