ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) — The Oakland Raiders have signed free agent safety Quincy Mauger.

The Raiders waived long snapper Drew Scott on Thursday to make room on the roster.

Mauger spent last season on injured reserve with a knee injury in Atlanta after signing with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent. Mauger played four seasons at Georgia, where he had 186 tackles, seven interceptions and 12 passes defensed.
