Raiders QB Derek Carr commits another act of kindness for a stranger

Derek Carr is quickly becoming one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but he continues to prove he’s even better off the field. The Oakland Raiders quarterback committed another act of kindness Thursday, this time helping a stranger who ran out of gas.

Musician Ron Reeser thanked Carr on Twitter after getting a lift from the Pro Bowl QB when his car stopped working.

To which Carr responded.

Reeser provided details of the incident to FOX 2 in Oakland, telling the outlet the Carr showed up moments after his car conked out.

But this is far from Carr’s best good-Samaritan deed this year. Oakland police credited the 25-year-old for helping find a missing child in January. Carr retweeted the missing child report the police tweeted, and less than 24 hours later, the child was found.
