Raiders march a trio of defenders in for tryouts

The Raiders are searching for someone -- anyone -- who can help their defense mount a playoff push.

So, they hosted three free agents for a workout on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Brown is the likeliest choice to stick in Silver and Black. The Raiders drafted him in 2010 before he jumped around. His most notable stint was with the Giants from 2012-14.

Meanwhile, Clemons and Acho could alleviate a problem spot at linebacker. The Raiders cut Ray-Ray Armstrong last week and both players could add depth if rookie Neiron Ball (knee) can't return.
